Warning against viral KiKi challenge issued By Police
The 'Kiki challenge' seems to be making headlines on social media
across the world and in India, but police forces across the country are
not amused. However, the men in Khaki are being imaginative in the way
they are using social media to warn against the Kiki challenge.
The Kiki challenge, promoted by Canadian rapper Drake, involves jumping out of a moving car and dancing to his song In my feelings alongside the vehicle.
The Gujarat Police on Tuesday warned taking up the Kiki challenge may land one in a hospital bed or behind bars. "Standing outside window or jumping out of a moving auto, train or car to break into a dance may seem bizarre. But that's exactly what social media users are doing as part of the latest Internet sensation -- the Kiki Challenge," a tweet by the Gujarat Police said.
Police forces in Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jaipur have also issued advisories against taking up the Kiki challenge.
The Jaipur Police, perhaps, set the bar on ingenuity in countering the Kiki challenge craze with a post on Facebook. Using the representational image of a model as an obituary photo, its word play earned attention: “In Loving Memory of KK—Loving boyfriend to Kiki, died while doing the Shiggy”!
